| Day 5 BEIJING - URUMQI (B/L/D) |
| Fly westwards to Urumqi, which is the highest altitude city in the world. Step on the mystical silk road where
East meets West. Visit Xinjiang Museum, the Hongshan Park and go shopping in the “Government Craftwork
in People’s Hall”. Tonight, we shall enjoy the special Roast lamb dinner.

| Day 6 URUMQI - TURPAN (B/L/D) |
| In the morning, we shall take a cable up to the Mt. Tianshan and visit the Tianchi (Heavenly Lake) by boat.
Then we shall head for to Turpan, anoasis amid the desert, and renowned for its grapes and honeydew melons. Afterwards, we shall visit the Silk Road Jade and Carpet Workshop.Tonight, we could enjoy a traditional singing and dancing show.

| Day 7 TURPAN - DUNHUANG (B/L/D) |
| Today, we shall visit the very interesting Karez Well, an underground irrigation system that carries melted
snow from Mt.Tianshan to the fields below. Then visit the Ancient City of Gaochang, the Ancient City of Jiaohe and the Flaming Mountain. In the evening you will go to Dunhuang via an overnight sleeper train.

| When arriving, in Dunhuang, one of the most historic destinations along China’s Silk Road, also a huge center of Buddhist art, we shall visit the world famous Mogao Grottoes, designated as a world cultural heritage by UNESCO for its 1600-year accumulated cultural, architectural, and art treasures. | Day 9 DUNHUANG - JIAYUGUAN PASS - LANZHOU (B/L/D) |
| After breakfast, the tour bus will head for Jiayuguan , a city that has many renowned places of historic interest and scenic beauty, namely, the Jiayuguan Pass and the other attractions include. Jiayuguan Pass is the first pass at the west end of the Great Wall of China and was built during the Ming Dynasty. It is located at the foot of Jiayuguan Hill, between two hills of which the Pass lies, so earned the name "The First and Greatest Pass under the Heaven". Then we shall move on to Lanzhou by an overnight sleeper train.

| This morning, we shall arrive in Lanzhou, the very important section of the Silk Road. The Yellow River runs through this city. Then, we shall visit the Wuquan Mountain Park and the No.1 Bridge of the Yellow River. Then, we shall fly to Xi’an, the ancient capital of 11 different dynasties. Hotel: Castle Hotel or similar 5* |

| Xi’an was the capital of ancient China for 11 dynasties extending over 1000 years. You are going to visit the
amazing Terra Cotta Warriors – thousands of life-size clay warriors, horses and chariots which were part of
the tomb of the first emperor of Qin Dynasty, discovered in 1974 by a farmer who was digging a well.
Afterwards, we shall visit the Huaqing Hot Spring. Then, we shall proceed to visit the Big Wild-Goose Pagoda, and Dynasty Bell Tower. A Dumplings Feast will be served for your dinner. Tonight you will enjoy the spectacular Tang Dynasty Show. Hotel: Castle Hotel or similar 5* |

| Fly to Shanghai, one of the largest commercial cities in China. Spend the day visiting beautiful traditional
garden- Yu Garden, Cheng Huang Temple, the Bund and shopping along the Nanjing Road. You can also
